Management Board

Renato Založnik, President of the Management Board

The President of the Board, Renato Založnik, holds a master's degree in Business Sciences. During his 32-year business career, he participated in numerous domestic and international projects, both in the economy and in the financial sector. He has been working in the field of banking and payment systems for more than 28 years, including 21 year at Delavska hranilnica, in various management positions. After obtaining permission from the Bank of Slovenia, he assumed the position of Member of the Board in March 2017. Since November 2022 he has been appointed by the Supervisory Board for the second time as President of the Board for a five-year term.

Damjana Iglič, Member of the Management Board

Damjana Iglič holds a degree in economics and has more than 33 years of experience in the fields of banking supervision, financial stability, and macroprudential policy. She began her career at the Bank of Slovenia, where she advanced to the position of Director for Systemic Supervision and Banking Regulation, significantly contributing to the development of supervisory methodologies, regulations, and numerous strategic projects. In 2025, she joined Delavska hranilnica as an Executive Advisor for Risk Management, and in December, the Supervisory Board appointed her as a Management Board member responsible for risk management and finance. She is recognized for her expertise, integrity, and extensive leadership experience.

Matjaž Bernik, Member of the Management Board

Member of the Management Board Matjaž Bernik is a university graduate economist with over 25 years of work experience in the financial sector. Throughout his professional career, he has worked in the fields of stock brokerage and trading of various financial instruments. He has also gained extensive experience in investment advisory, particularly through participation in company acquisitions and the issuance of financial instruments. He joined Delavska hranilnica in 2017 and has since made a significant contribution to the continued expansion of the DH Group’s operations by introducing new products and services and accelerating the digitalization of processes. Since 2020, he has been active in various areas as the Executive Director of Business Development and Support.
